Welcome to Jessi Lynn Photography

I’m Jessica Harwood, a Western North Carolina native with deep roots in the Barnardsville, Weaverville and Mars Hill communities. After spending most of my adult life in beautiful Madison County, I’ve grown to appreciate the quiet magic of the mountains and the memories made here — the very things that inspire my work behind the camera.

Photography has been a passion of mine for many years, but life’s responsibilities often came first. After college, I became a full-time caregiver for my mom until her passing in 2015, and later for my grandmother, whom I lost in early 2025. These two incredible women shaped who I am, and losing them reminded me just how precious — and fleeting — our moments can be. That realization is what sparked this journey.

In mid 2025, I finally took the leap and bought my first camera. I haven’t looked back. Photography has become one of the most joyful and fulfilling experiences of my life. I understand how important it is to preserve the moments we never want to forget, and that’s why I pour my heart into every session. My goal is always the same: to create images that feel genuine, warm, and meaningful.

I’ve already had the privilege of working with so many wonderful clients who trusted me to capture their stories. I’m excited to continue growing, meeting new families, and documenting the memories that matter most.
